One Hundred Push Ups

Following on from yesterday’s post about improving my fitness, I did the initial test last night for the one hundred push up challenge. I managed 27 push ups before collapsing in a heap on the floor. Not bad for a first effort.

As my ability to do push-ups is not affected in any way by my knee injury, I have no excuse not to do this, so I’m going to start the program on Monday of next week. It’s a 6 week program, but as my starting point is not too bad, I can start at week 3. If I manage to complete 100 push-ups at the end of it all, I’ll post a video up here. There are also programs for 200 squats and sit-ups, I may add in these too if all goes well.

Today is my tenth completely cigarette and alcohol free day and still going strong.
